About Milford Area Players

Building the love of theatre in Southern New Hampshire

The Milford Area Players were formed in 2002 by a group of theatre lovers who wanted to keep the art form alive in the area following the demise of the regionally renowned American Stage Festival.   Its first productions were performed in the Milford Town Hall.   The group became heavily involved in the restoration of the old ASF theatre, which had been bought and donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley.   MAP is now the resident theatre company of the Amato Performing Arts Center.   Working with core values of quality, respect, creativity, community and fun, the troupe has set its star on becoming the leading regional theatre company known for quality theatre and talented, artistically creative members.
